These filters are an alternative to the ResMed 36850/36851/36852 disposable white filters and fit the ResMed S9 and AirSense 10 series of CPAP machines. Please note these are not made by ResMed but by Air Filtration Solutions. These air filters are of a similar quality to the original ResMed S9 filters.

These replacement filters for the ResMed S9 and AirSense 10 series CPAP are suitable for:

  • ResMed S9 AutoSet
  • ResMed S9 Elite
  • ResMed S9 Escape
  • ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet
  • ResMed AirSense 10 CPAP

The Hypoallergenic versions use an additional layers to provide additional protection against allergens entering the CPAP system, so are particularly beneficial for those with allergies affecting their respiratory system (eg. hayfever).

Why buy alternative filters?

Our filters are often cheaper than the branded originals even though they are of similar quality. Unlike the CPAP machine, there is nothing high-tech about foam and paper filters so there is nothing to worry about in terms of compromising on air quality and so on. It could also be that you are placing an order for another item here anyway so you might as well get some filters at the same time, avoiding packaging and postage costs.

How often should I replace filters?

This depends on the air quality in your bedroom and how prone you are to allergic reactions. If you live near an industrial area or busy road you may have to replace them every month. If your property suffers from damp and mould you are also more likely to need replacement CPAP filters more often. Inspect the filter every week and make sure you have some spares ready.
