The latest addition to the excellent Joyce range of masks, Weinmann’s new Joyce SilkGel Full Face Mask takes their gel cushion to the next level. The material coating the gel cushion is called SilkTec, giving the cushion a smooth surface that gives a soft and silky feel. And as with the whole Joyce range, the cushions are replaceable and interchangeable with all cushion types across the range, giving you the maximum amount of flexibility.

Ultra-smooth cushion provides softest surface to date

The new SilkTec coating gives the Weinmann Joyce SilkGel Full Face Mask the smoothest and softest surface yet seen on a CPAP mask. Building on the success of the Joyce range, particularly the Joyce Full Face Gel, the Joyce SilkGel is Weinmann’s most advanced offering yet.

The Joyce range is renowned for it’s intelligent modular design. All of the Joyce Full Face masks can have their cushions interchanged. So if you were to choose the SilkGel mask, but instead wanted a regular silicone cushion instead, then you can simply purchase a silicone cushion – there is no need to get a complete new mask. This freedom of choice makes the Joyce range the most flexible full face masks available.

The SilkGel’s unique coating make the mask incredibly easy to clean. Hardly anything adheres to the ultra-smooth surface, such as perspiration, making cleaning the mask quick and easy. The single-layer cushion means there are no awkward nooks and crannies to reach either, so maintenance has rarely been more straightforward.

Underneath the SilkTec coating is the same soft, blue gel found in the regular Joyce Full Face Gel mask. This soft, flexible gel gives a notable improvement in comfort, seal and fit over a standard cushion. If you have been having difficulty getting comfortable with a regular silicone mask, it may be time to try a gel mask, for the superior comfort and ease of fit they offer.

Ball and socket joint offers greater freedom to move

The Joyce range remain the only gel masks with a ball-and-socket joint for the elbow. This gives the greatest freedom possible, minimising hose tug and the possibility of it causing the mask to dislodge. This freedom means you can change position freely with less chance of losing your seal.

The headgear design is laid out to make adjustments as easy as possible. The Velcro fasteners are colour-coded for simplicity, and the headgear features a tube anchoring strap for the benefit of those who prefer the hosing the exit above their heads.

If you are considering trying this mask for the first time, you can order in confidence using Mask Fit Insurance.

Mask Fit Insurance costs £14.99 for nasal masks and £19.99 for full face masks, and allows you to return this mask for a refund if unsuitable.

You have 28 days from the dispatch date to assess the mask and notify us that you are unhappy with it for any reason. You can return it and have it refunded (we must receive it back within 7 days of being notified).

The fee for the insurance is non-refundable once the mask is opened, nor are any outgoing postage costs. The mask itself will be refunded in full.

A pre-paid returns label will be included for customers in the UK. We strongly recommend getting a proof of postage (which is free) as returns not received cannot be refunded. For overseas customers, the return postage will need to be arranged by the customer and this cannot be reimbursed.

CPAP masks purchased without insurance cannot be returned/refunded once opened for hygiene reasons, as explained in our returns policy.

Mask Fit Insurance must be ordered at the same time as the mask in question, and cannot be added retroactively.

Intus Healthcare reserve the right not to honour any orders containing multiple masks purchased with Insurance; please instead choose which mask you feel is most suitable and select the size required as per the sizing gauge (if applicable). Should you subsequently determine a different mask or size is required, you can of course return the first and order the other.
