Premium evolution of the popular FlexiFit 407 mask

The Fisher & Paykel Zest Q Nasal CPAP Mask range is an evolution of their popular FlexiFit 405, 406 and 407 masks. They feature some subtle design alterations to their predecessors, which improve the mask’s usability, comfort and durability, further enhancing their credentials as excellent all-round CPAP masks.

Proven design now enhanced even further

Like its predecessors, the Zest Q CPAP masks use the proven FlexiFoam Cushion. Made of soft, light and supportive foam, it is able to adapt to your individual facial contours. The Glider Strap system is designed to give your mask the ability to readjust its position when you change position without breaking the seal.

Users of FlexiFit 405, 406 and 407 masks will be be pleased to know that the cushion has had a couple of useful alterations. The foam cushions now features a thin plastic coating, which prevents the foam from absorbing water, causing them to harder and crack. As a result the cushions are now far more durable, without losing any of their comfort and adaptability. The cushion is also attached to a plastic mount, making removing and attaching the cushion from the frame far easier and quicker.

The other main change from the previous generation sees the introduction of a diffuser cap. This is designed to bring three benefits; to prevent air from blowing towards your eyes, reduce the build up of condensation inside the Zest Q, and to make it quieter. The proven Stretchgear Headgear and forehead support both remain unchanged, including the Glider Clips and Hidden Strap Release for one-step removal of the mask without having to make fitting adjustments.

Mask Fit Insurance is available for this mask

If you are considering trying this mask for the first time, you can order in confidence using Mask Fit Insurance.

Mask Fit Insurance costs £14.99 for nasal masks and £19.99 for full face masks, and allows you to return this mask for a refund if unsuitable.

You have 28 days from the dispatch date to assess the mask and notify us that you are unhappy with it for any reason. You can return it and have it refunded (we must receive it back within 7 days of being notified).

The fee for the insurance is non-refundable once the mask is opened, nor are any outgoing postage costs. The mask itself will be refunded in full.

A pre-paid returns label will be included for customers in the UK. We strongly recommend getting a proof of postage (which is free) as returns not received cannot be refunded. For overseas customers, the return postage will need to be arranged by the customer and this cannot be reimbursed.

CPAP masks purchased without insurance cannot be returned/refunded once opened for hygiene reasons, as explained in our returns policy.

Mask Fit Insurance must be ordered at the same time as the mask in question, and cannot be added retroactively.

Intus Healthcare reserve the right not to honour any orders containing multiple masks purchased with Insurance; please instead choose which mask you feel is most suitable and select the size required as per the sizing gauge (if applicable). Should you subsequently determine a different mask or size is required, you can of course return the first and order the other.

If you need any further information, please use the chat function (if available), or contact us.

Is the Wisp Nasal CPAP mask compatible with any CPAP machine?

Yes – the Wisp Nasal CPAP mask will be compatible with all standard CPAP tubing/hoses and machines.

What is the difference between the fabric frame, and the silicone frame, with the Wisp Minimal Contact Nasal CPAP mask?

The Wisp nasal CPAP mask comes with two choices of frame. Both are as effective as the other, it is merely a choice for you, in what you feel would be most comfortable. While the fabric frame aims to offer superior comfort; the silicone frame aims to provide minimal appearance. It is a personal preference but either provides a pioneering nasal CPAP mask option.

How do I know which size Wisp Nasal CPAP mask to order?

You do not need to worry about sizing before purchasing the Wisp Nasal CPAP mask. Whether you order the fabric frame, or the silicone frame option – it will come with three different sized cushions, which gives you the freedom to experiment and gauge the best size for you.

How does the Wisp Nasal CPAP mask achieve its minimal comfort?

Firstly, the Wisp Nasal CPAP mask features a unique tip-of-the-nose cushion, which is designed to sit below the nose bridge. This creates minimal skin contact, for superior comfort and seal. Philips Respironics have taken the advantages of a nasal pillow mask and the advantages of a nasal cushion mask – and combined them to create the Wisp Minimal contact Nasal CPAP mask.

How do I clean my Wisp Nasal CPAP mask?

It is recommended to clean your Wisp Nasal CPAP mask, before its first use, and weekly thereafter. The Wisp Nasal CPAP mask can be disassembled very quickly and easily. First, remove the elbow from the cushion, and then peel back the cushion from its frame. Then wash your Wisp Nasal CPAP mask in warm water, with a mild detergent. Do not use any solutions with bleach or alcohol in on your Wisp Nasal CPAP mask, as this can interfere its life span. One washed, rinse thoroughly with warm water, and then leave the disassembled parts to air dry. The Wisp Nasal CPAP mask headgear does not need to be washed every day, but instead it should be washed weekly; in the same way as the cushion and tubing. You can also buy some CPAP Mask Wipes here.
